Durability of Fortified Glass

I've been hearing a lot of complaints about how Samsung went with fortified glass instead of Gorilla Glass. This video shows that this fortified glass is still some pretty strong material.

It's looking to be pretty much on par with Gorilla Glass.

my incredible, as far as i know, is just normal glass. Its been though many drops, including face down on gravel. Not a scatch on the glass.
Plastic, is a different story

You realize gorilla glass is a brand of fortified glass right? It's pretty much the same thing without the marketing my corning......
