Considering getting the Pixel 2 XL on the Verizon Device Payment Plan and getting the 50% off with trade-in for my Moto Z Force. I got the Force because I liked out it has a shatter shield display.

Anyone running there Pixel 2 XL naked? I may want to do that and thinking maybe I should get Verizons protection plan that runs $11 per month and covers accidental damage and cracked screens. Opinions on whether that is worth it or not?

mine is naked 50% of the time, the other 50% I have a simple clear tpu case on it.

I have always had Verizon's coverage on my phones. never had to make a broken phone claim, but I've had two phones stolen before and that made the protection worth it.

I'd wait another week to hear what the Black Friday deal is going to be. I picked up the pixel for free last year with a device trade in. Have actually done it the past couple years, although their monthly statement credits now have sort of stopped that annually. Being a VZW exclusive, you can expect a great pixel 2 offer like last year.

Not sure about the XL but I have the P2 naked and it's doing fine. I do have the device coverage through Verizon and am pretty careful with my phone. It does feel pretty solid though. I just hope the coating on the back doesn't wear too badly over time

Anyone know how long this 50% off promotion lats and when the Black Friday ad will come out? I wouldn't want to miss this deal in hopes there will be a better one on Black Friday. But then I also wouldn't like to take this deal and have there be a better one on Black Friday. Yeah, I know it's a gamble either way.
