dust in my lens

i have specks of dust under my lens anybody else has this problem?

Hey man I had the same problem I took the lens right off cleared the dust and put the lens back on. Htc uses a soft rubber cement that keeps that lens on..... it can survive a removal... and if your worried go to your local craft store and they will have that same type of adhesive ..... I was slightly afraid at first of pulling the lens off but I wouldn't think twice about doing it again

i'd say as long as it doesnt appear in the pictures your fine. I did however take mine off to clean it, its not cement its tiny strips of double-sided tape.

Yep, I took mine off too. Whatever it is holding it on seems like it could take removal/replacement a few times before needing new adhesive.

I managed to get a spec of dust on the ccd. Showed up in every picture. Large and perfectly in focus. Verizon replaced that one.
