is it possible for dust to get between the display and the glass? i read on other forums that samsung fuses the display to the glass so dust getting in there is impossible...true?

Yup. And if you're coming from an HTC phone, that's pretty comforting (had that problem with my Sensation). :)

Sent from my Nexus S

awesome, i am coming from a HTC and did have glass under my screen.

i was worried because there was a piece of dust or something in the groove between the class and the plastic. i tried blowing it out and ended up pushing it further in. knowing that the display is fused to the glass i won't worry about it.

I had dust under the screen of an old Blackberry and it drove me NUTS. OCD much? Yes sir. :)

yeah my HTC bothered me too. i had the same thing happen under every HTC i've had and on a BB storm.

so glad samsung fused the display. one less thing to worry about

I keep my phone in my pocket and I'm always getting dust in the groove between the screen and the outer rim. Drives me nuts.

I was told my Zagg screen protector would attract dust around the edges. I hope not, bc when it does, the screen with go naked.

Me too. I have a large supply of canned air for this reason. And while trying to blow this one piece or dust/debris out it blew it further in. To the point where I can't see it anymore. But if Samsung did their job right it shouldn't be an issue.

I don't know about Zagg because I have not used them in awhile, but every other screen protector ive used gets dust and grime around the our edges of it after awhile and I always end up taking them off. One of the reasons I go naked now.
