So a quick backround. I disabled the Samsung keyboard with package disabler long ago since I used Google keyboard. I put my phone into ultra power-saving mode and it locked, and I couldn't unlock it because the Google keyboard gets disabled in ultra power-saving mode and the Samsung one was disabled by me (dumbass lol)

I had no way to get back into my phone so I wiped it through the recovery menu..

So here's my issue. Everything works fine as before, except now when I boot into the recovery menu, it will say
E:ensure_path_unmounted failed to unmount /efs (device or resource busy)

I'm on stock Rogers most recent firmware and the phone has never been rooted or had anything except stock Rogers firmware on it.

Any one have any insight how to fix it. It's not really affecting anything on the phone from what I can tell, it's just bothering me since it wasn't there before.

Everything still loads the same except for that message/error whatever It is appearing. All features work on the phone and recovery menu.

Screenshots attached.

You might get a better response if this thread were in the the specific device subforum, rather than the Nougat subforum. Your issue really isn't related to Nougat in general. I can move the thread if you tell us which device you have.

Also, keep in mind that there are hundreds of new threads each day, so not all threads gain traction immediately (especially for a more esoteric problem like yours). If you don't get a response at first, you can always gently bump it to give it more prominence again. No need to get upset.:)

it's already in the S8 forum as well. I double posted somewhat and still nothing.

this forum seems to cater to the less technical. why is my screen too red? how do I change my ringer? my battery is baaaaad.

I find if you ask a question that requires a technical skill even the slightest above the average person you won't find your answer here.

not upset at all, just stating the truth. This isn't the first time I've posted something technical and received nothing back.

XDA is where it's at for problems like this.

AC does tend to be popular with the more general user, and you're correct, XDA is much better for the much more technical questions. But there are still some pretty knowledgeable people around here -- e.g., I've seen some pretty involved posts about taking apart Samsung tablets to fix various hardware issues.

In any case, I would recommend that you post your more technical questions in multiple forums, to increase your chances of an answer.

Closing thread due to duplicate. Please continue to use the other thread. Thanks!
