E-mail not pushing

I've been having an issue where my e-mail isn't getting pushed to my phone. It's hit or miss. I think Gmail is doing it sometimes, but my corporate/exchange email is the one not coming through a lot. Sometimes I have to open up my email in order to get it to come through, sometimes I just have to unlock the phone and then it seems to push. I don't have any battery apps or programs, I have all settings set to push e-mail all the time (both during peak and non peak hours), so as far as I can tell it should always be pushing. I can understand at times if I don't have service, but most of the time I have full service but it still doesn't pull the e-mails until I open the phone or email. Anyone have any advice or suggestions? Is there a setting I missed or any other reason my e-mail isn't coming through?

Background sync is enabled, auto sync is on, all my settings are so far as I can tell set properly. Yet it still persists. It seems worse at night and weekends, but even though peak hours are set to all push and I changed peak hours to 5am-1am, it still lags. Any more ideas? Is this hardware or software?

how do I do a factory reset? I may need to, cause this is getting old! I deleted my account and set it up again, but it still does the same thing. I'll get 5 e-mails 30-60 minutes late all in one go, even though my phone hasn't been touched or moved the entire time. I tried setting it to 5 minute intervals, thinking maybe that could help (5 minutes is better than an hour late), but they still aren't coming through. I'll try a factory reset, and if that doesn't help, I'm going to ATT and asking for an exchange or a refund.

Looks like you are doing everything right, let us know what AT&T has to say if you bring it in - Although a hard reset usually fixes most issues

Good Luck

So I did a factory reset and nothing changed. So today I took it in and exchanged it for a new one, and it has already done it! Is it just an AT&T thing that the network glitches and doesn't send? Isn't anyone out there having this issue with e-mails not coming until 45-60 minutes after they're sent?! This is beyond frustrating, and I need e-mails to be reliable!
