Android Central Question

So I just recently got the bluboo s8 and I'm noticing the best data I can get is E even though I am in a great service zone, I use TracFone and on my last 20 dollar cheapo phone I could get even 3G just fine,
My data is at the recommended (4G) but it's only giving me E, I don't know why! Is there ANY foolproof way to fix it (I haven't rooted) help!?

well checking what I bought I found this

jk I can't copy and paste on this app apparently one sec, ugh well basically it talks about bands and how your device needs to operate on a certain band to use 4G and if not it will run edge, so if my phone doesn't run that band how do I change that

The bands are hardware. You can't change it on any phone. Basically similar to how a TV can't get FM radio signals because their signal bands are different. You need to switch to a carrier with the same bands as your phone, or get a new phone that support's your carrier bands.

I'm not sure if it's available still, but I remember some ads a couple weeks ago where if you have a sprint capable phone, and you switch to sprint, they give you a 200USD gift cert. So if you're not on sprint and you don't really have cash for a new phone, that can work out.

Edit. Lol apparent it wasn't an ad. Flossy was talking about it in his review for the Blu S1.

I think the 129 sale for that model is over though.

so point me in the direction of what to do exactly because I'm hopelessly lost when it comes to service
Well basically, get a new phone or switch carriers. I don't know which carriers are available in your area, or where you are, so you'll have to look for yourself which carrier in your area supports your phone.

I called my provider TracFone and they said they could send me instructions as soon as I told them the android version , I said 7.0 cause that's what it says, they said that didn't work, is that the real version or not
