Earbuds mic stopped working on LG Stylo 2

[AC Question]

The mic on the earbuds works fine with other devices, so I know the problem is with the phone (LG Stylo 2). I tried to reset it, but that didn't do anything. Any suggestions?

maybe the device can't recognize input, try another earbuds.
