easiest way to convert iTunes to Android music file?

What is the best way for me to take my iTunes music files on my computer, and convert them to files that can be saved and played on my S10+?

Also, another option is to upload your iTunes files to YouTube Music: https://support.google.com/youtubemusic/answer/9716522?hl=en. You can then stream that music on your phone, or download it for offline play (although I suspect the downloaded files would only be for use by the YT Music app, and not be available to manipulate with any file managers or be playable by other music apps).

Thanks, B. Diddy. Reading that link, I saw where they recommended you "rip" the CD into an mpeg format rather than converting from ITunes to mpeg. Do you have any idea how I could do that? Is there an app out there, similar to iTunes, where I could take the time to rip all my CD's again with my player and rip them into mpeg?

Not that I am a music fiend, but I have a large enough collection I do not relish basically starting over to just make them Android accessible.

Its been a few years so maybe things have changed, but I was able to play the music from itunes "as is" on my android phone. have you tried just copy a music file or two and see if they would play?

If you still have a PC or Mac with a DVD or CD-ROM drive, you should be able to use Windows Media Player or iTunes to re-rip your CDs. Just make sure you set the respective ripping program to save as mp3, not wma or aac.

Otherwise, consider uploading your iTunes library to YouTube Music in the cloud as I previously suggested, since the conversion is done automatically on Google's side.

I can't remember if all Android devices have the proper AAC (M4A) codec preloaded, or if you have to install a 3rd party player for that.

I don't recall having to install a third party app at the time. but since then I have been using poweramp and vlc to play those files on my android. This included personal cds I ripped to itunes.

I just tried copying a file from iTunes and putting it on my SD card. I grabbed one app for playing music and it works. But I am not sure if it will work for me yet or not but that was a great suggestion!

Can also look at smart switch for pc , I belive you can copy your ITunes music to it then to the device see if it converts them .

Yes. They are all M4A files. I used a music player and it plays great. I was able to take an entire folder of a particular artist, from ITunes, drop it on to my SD card, then use the music player and it plays perfectly. Thanks again everyone. I was able to do 4 of my artists and all their albums in 5 min time. Shouldn't take me very long to do my entire library when I want to. Then if my iPod dies, I am ok.
