Using this logic, I've killed and eaten enough warm blooded herbivores, that by only having 3 kids I've actually reduced my carbon footprint.

However, to pull this thread back on topic, sending much thanks to the AWESOME midwestern Verizon rep I spoke to tonight! Made up for the rude a$$ new yorker yesterday.

I fully understand the point you were making. It is just that you were wrong. But clearly you aren't the type to let silly little things like facts and logic stop you from clinging to your beliefs.

Fact: Deer have a certain carbon load on this planet.
Fact: Removing a deer from the population eliminates it's carbon footprint, as well as the carbon footprint of it's offspring.
Fact: Deer have on average two fawns per year for a period of 6 years. Thats 13 animals, and their carbon load eliminated.
Fact: I shoot at least 6 every year, as I am an avid hunter. I have been hunting for 39 years.
Fact: 39 times 13 is 507
Fact: I could have fathered several thousand children during my life, but I only choose to father 3.

Logic: I have a very big carbon credit to use.

This is exactly what you were claiming you could achieve by not exercising, and instead complaining. It's just at a larger scale. Mathematics and Biology at play.

Anyhow, it is boring and I am getting tired since it is getting near my bed time 'cuz believe it or not, I am an east coaster, lol! So yeah, I have to deal with rude f**ks all the time and know what I am talking about.

I do and I treat them according to their actions.

Look Jerry, there is no denying that overconsuming is harming this earth. There is a reason the rest of the world throws around the phrase Fat Americans. It is nothing to be proud of and it IS within people's ability to control. That doesn't mean I don't realize it is hard for some to control, I do. However, the solution to that problem is not me pretending that overconsuming doesn't have a terribly negative effect on this earth, when it does.

And I don't care how many people say, oh that is so mean. I will proudly wear the label of mean if that's what it takes to get people to think about the consequences their life choices have on this earth. It is not 1950 anymore. There are too many people having too many children and eating too much food on this earth. WE can't sustain this sort of population growth much longer and fighting those of us brave enough to try to reign in the excesses of our society only does harm. Luckily, I am strong enough to stand up to it.

I have already explained that - it is a stress reliever for me. I am pretty much laughing the entire time I write these posts to you. Anyhow, you are the one stopping me from sleeping during which I would exhale less carbon dioxide.
