I use Linux, i am trying to find a better way to put stuff on my phone. Id like to be able to transfer files to my phone using wifi instead of using my sync cable. Any suggestions for something user friendly?

I run Linux Mint 13 KDE and find WiFi Transfer Pro....

IMO the best it is $1.40 but there is a free version that has a file size limit and there is WiFi File Explorer...

that only works in one direction and WiFi File Explorer Pro for 99 cents that goes in both directions but WiFi File Explorer requires more permissions than WiFi Transfer Pro.

They work with Linux android and windows because the work via the web browser.

I tried dropbox for getting music files from my hard disk onto my s4, yet I can't play them because the player(s) don't find any drop box directory - neither can I when I take a look at the file system. What am I missing?
thanks :)

If you're on a Windows computer, does it see your phones file system? If so, then you can just copy your music to the phones Music folder.
