Easy Rooted ROM with hboot

Just got my Inspire and all is fine, but the One Click Root method still involves manual commands, couple of reboots and different windows open, not 100% fool proof to me. Came across this post

which says that I can flash a rooted Rom using hboot, if it is true, the easiest way to root the HTC Inspire. Can someone shed a light on this? am I misreading it?

You'll still need to be rooted prior to flashing that ROM. The verbage makes it seem that way but you will need to be rooted first.

Some devs have that in their description for some reason and I don't know why. Maybe they mean it will include superuser or something else. Kind misleading unless I'm missing something. No problem man.
