Easytether help

For some reason when I use easytether, every 5 minutes or so the usb connection option pops up. When it does it turns of usb debugging. It gets very irritating. My friends lg vortex doesn't have any problems at all. Is there a way to turn it off somehow?

(I like to use easytether when I don't have to be wireless, it's faster)

I'm an easytether user and I have never seen this happen, works like a champ for me.

I have used Barnacle a few times with no problems.

I can use the any wireless tethering app fine, just when using easytether is there a problem.
