Ebay app running slow - very slow loading images

Hi all,

I have problem with the ebay app it's running really slowly on my Samsung s8, the images take ages to load.

some other people have reported the same problem on Samsung notes,

I was wondering if anyone here could test the ebay app to see if they are having the same issue?

Have you cleared the ebay cache? When is the last time you cleared the cache partition and rebooted your phone?

Yeah I've done all that,

1. Rebooted phone
2. Uninstalled the app - reinstalled the app
3. Removed the sd card
4. uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app again and rebooted.
5. installed an older version of the app when it was working.
6. installed all the latest samsung updates.
7. Turned on high performance mode.
8. cleared cache and data.
9. I have plenty of space free.

I'm interested to know if anyone else can confirm how the app runs on their s8

are you experiencing the same issue?

Signed up to say same here. S8 and eBay app, updated etc etc...runs poor. Haven't tried all the reboot and uninstall stuff as I know it won't make a difference. Annoying. Either an s8 issue or the latest eBay app? Who knows...

I've reported the issue to ebay and they have passed this on to their mobile app dev team so hopefully they will fix it....or Samsung.

S8+ user here and am also experiencing the same issue, very annoying! Makes it almost not worth bothering with so I have to dig out the laptop.

Let's hope someone finds a fix soon!

having the same issues. cleared the cache on my Phone with no result. after one year my S8 has begun running slower overall

Was this ever resolved for anyone? I posted to eBay's forums about it and to ebay support themselves but it's still slow to to this day on my note9.
