EC01 --> Fluctuating battery level and Wifi not always working

I am using the EC01 ROM on my rooted Verizon Fascinate. I can turn the Wifi on and off twice before the feature the freezes and will no longer work. The Wifi button says the Wifi is on, but the Wifi symbol never appears in the status bar and I will have no internet access unless I turn on mobile date. I have to restart the phone to get the Wifi to work again. I could live with this, if the battery levels did not go from fully charged to being in the yellow or almost dead in a matter of 5 minutes. I have tried multiple batteries so I know the battery is not the issue. I don't understand how the battery levels can fluctuate so much. Is this the ROM? Below is a pic of the specs of my phone. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

According to the image you provided you are using a ED01 based ROM.. Not EC01.

I do know that typically when you have getting some heavy battery drain like that - it is typically related to an app or a feature in the ROM that is running and is not shutting down..

The radio/modem should not be affecting battery drain.

You can check settings -> About phone - > Battery use... to see what is consuming your battery ..

As far as wifi.. not certain what is happening there..
