EC05 - voice dropping during calls

I've been experiencing the issue of outgoing audio cutting out during phone calls. I'd noticed it first when I tried EF02 and a variety of modems, and now I'm experiencing it still after going back to EC05 with the EC05 modem. Toggling speakerphone "fixes" the problem for that call.

I suppose what I'm trying to figure out is: could having tried EF02 have done something that going back to EC05 didn't resolve? Or perhaps was this happening after EC05 was OTA'd and I just didn't notice it? Is anyone having this on stock EC05?

Before I push to replace what's otherwise a perfect Epic, I want to see if this is a hardware or a firmware issue.

If your familiar with falshing modems you might try to re-flash EC05, i think i was on EE03 and was very happy with it.
To find the info for it check out XDA. You will need ODIN and the modem file you want to try to flash.

When I ODIN'ed back to EC05 from EF02, it put the EC05 modem back on. But, maybe something got corrupted, so it's probably worth a shot to reflash. I did try the EF02, EF10, and EE03 modems while I was on EF02, and had the problem with all of them.

As I think about it, however, I really don't remember this problem happening before I tried EF02, and so maybe they are related after all...
