Anyone else having an echo of their own voice in the beginning of a phone call? It seems to disappear after the first thing I say. Not a big deal just curious if others have noticed this and what would cause it, especially since it disappears after the first minute or so.

That is a carrier issue happens to me on all my phones every now and then I am on AT&T.

I find the call quality to be greatly improved over my S7 Cricket So Ca.

I'm on Virgin Mobile Canada and the sound on phone is great and reception is the best I have had on all my phones.

i am on Verizon. The call quality on my Note is generally the best of any phone I have had lately including the N7 but it just interests me why that little echo is there for the initial "hello."

I'm on Verizon and most of the time I don't hear an echo. When I do it always by my front door for whatever reason. If I don't go by my front door I don't hear the echo lol.

Poorly designed cases can sometimes cause an echo (I think due to blocking the secondary mic). If you have a case on, try taking it off.
