Edge Case

I don't think there's gonna be tempered glass for the Edge but a Zagg Invisible Shield-type protector would be fine. I think there's Skinomi out like that but was hoping seine actually had one.

Someone posted a screenshot of an e-mail from iLoome, where they stated that they are releasing a tempered glass protector for the Edge by the end of January. I'll see if I can find it again.

For you UAG users, can you chime in on what the inner material of the case is? Wanting to know if there's any softness or give on the inside, as I'd want to use the case in conjunction with the S Charging back. This back adds a tiny bit of thickness - the camera hump essentially turns flush with it on - and I'm worried I can only use one at a time.

There is absolutey no give on the inside. The case fits about as snug as a fingernail in your finger. The inside is also made of a rubber/plastic mix. I love the fact that the case now extends just a teeny weeny bit past the camera lens. Since without that, when lay your phone down on a flat surface, the main contact point was the camera lens.

A lot of people are having issues with Verizons popping off on the edge screen. Mine did as well. I ended up going with Skinomi for now. Covers whole screen. Looks awful at first. Give it 3 days and everything clears up and works great. Essay to apply. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00NA...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4176444

I think it all depends on the installer. I've got no issues with my Verizon screen protector. It's been five days since the Verizon release, where are you reading about a lot of people having issues with their Edge screen protectors?

Just got my two Verus Thor cases today (ordered on Sunday with free shipping) and I love them as much as I did on my Note 4. Great protection around the phone without adding a lot of bulk, a nice slant up to the heart rate monitor. I might have to pick up a couple more colors. I got the red and gold ones. I like the thick corners on the Edge corners. Highly recommend to anyone still looking for a case for their Edge.

On the original Verizon Release thread. I've had 2 different people at Verizon install mind and they both came off at the edge screen the same day. In the store itself they were having a hard time getting them to stay down on that side.

I bought the same case in the red and I love it. Goes on very nicely and keeps the phone slim. Gonna order more myself just wish they had a few more colors.

First off, I had the Verizon guy put my screen protector on and the "edge" peeled off within the first few minutes. Everyone in the store claimed that he was the best at putting them on. I tried the second one myself with the same issue. Haven't tried the third yet.

I ordered the Skinomi Tech Skin Screen protector and the Tridea case from Amazon today. Both for $20.

Case:

I don't like the bulk of the UAG or Otterbox style cases.

Once I get the case I will let you know how it turns out.

Tech Armor's website says they have a ballistic glass screen protector coming soon. Used them on my Note 3 and my wife's iPhone.

That's a very nice looking case.

Na. Not a fan of wallet-type cases at all, I'm sure lots of others agree.

The link you quoted is actually not the flip case, but the Verus Thor, which I highly recommend and endorse. He did go on to mention the flip/wallet case, and I agree, not much of a fan.

A user last week dropped their Edge using the flip type wallet case and cracked the screen. I would NEVER purchase those types of cases ever but whatever works for those that do...

That's why I'm not a fan. It seems like the protection offered is minimal to non-existent. I know that I'm too anal when it comes to this little 'palmtops' (you heard the term here first :) )
