Edge Lighting for notifications

No idea if Samsung monitors threads here but I have an idea for an improvement. Since the took away our beloved Led indicator I've been using the edge lighting as an indicator.

A nice add on would be if you don't immediately look to see what it's going off for or miss it, a repeat function would be nice. have it go off once every minute or whatever the user decides until he looks, reads or answers the instance. Just saying!

I have that on but aparently either I still miss it being 3 minutes or it's not working on mine

I find the best feedback tool to Samsung is via the Samsung Members App.

It would be nice if the edge lighting would stay active for longer then 5 seconds.

I don't even have the option to turn on Edge Lighting? I have the Ultra.

Edge lighting is covered somewhere in sakitech's 2 hour video (earlier vids cobbled together). This feature is one of the reasons I chose the 20 and not the 21. I was under the impression that it would be more like the old notification light and intermittently come on. One's pretty much in the dark if one doesn't notice the message/call right away.

The video mentioned that edge lighting now only works in brief mode; I don't know if 3.1's changed this.

3.0 and 3.1 it's still the same settings brief mode
