Edge Lighting Question

Just got a Note 8 the other day and I can't get the edge lighting to light up when I get a notification.It lights up when the screen is on,but when my screen is off and I get a text or Facebook alert,it won't light up.Ive went threw all the settings and all the message boards for this problem and can't figure it out.This phone is only 2 days old out of the box.lol So I'm sure it's something I am missing,but can't figure it out.I attached screenshots to show all my settings and to show I have them all set correctly.Soooo let's do this.lol

Did you check the color set for the edge lighting? If I remember correctly the default is a color that doesn't show up well.

I had to change mine to a bright color.. orange..and it works great

Mine has never worked and I tried every suggestion given here and on the internet. I installed an edge lighting app and have used that for many months. Works just fine.

It's called Edge Lighting by Edge Design and it is free and has a 3.3 rating. Its icon is orange. It is basic and works just fine.[BOX][/BOX]
