So out of the box the Note 4/E both only have lte as the only data option for mobile data. Is there a way to change it so I can switch between edge, 3g, and lte at will like you kinda can do on the iphone, or does it have to be rooted or am i aol/sol? Thank you

It should automatically switch between networks. If you mean manually switch, I believe that requires root on the att note 4.

Yes to manually switching, my bad, and the att Note 4/E is not unlockable so im sol, man we need a bounty out for the note 4.

There already is a bounty over on XDA. It stands at around $5k , $10k if you combine with Verizon bounty .
