Edit parameters of google account <howto?>

Hello,

I just changed my google account password on my laptop. This was supposed to be pretty benign but now I get repetitive error messages on my LG G2 (KitKat) telling me that connection to my google account is impossible and that I should re-enter my password.
Well I would if I knew how
Any ideas ? My phone is unusable in this state and this didn't help (could not figure how to delete the account anyway, the bottom bar is different now ... )

Do you get a notification in the Status bar?
