If you haven't heard ComRom 2.0 came out today and i was wondering if anybody has installed it?
Also if you guys are using a voodoo kernel which one do you think is better the PeanutButtaJelly Voodoo kernel or the OTB 1.5 voodoo kernel?

Yep been running pretty good so far. As far as kernels go, every phone is different and people have better luck with one over the other. You will just have to see which one works best for you. The PB&J one is undervolted -50 across the board and the OTB will allow you to customize your undervolt yourself. You can also overclock with OTB. If you like to tweak your voltages then give OTB a try.

Yeah I'm a noob and don't know how to overclock or undervolt so I'll just download the PBJ kernel for now

And make sure you use the kernel of your choice for atleast 3 days to see if it runs properly for your phone. If it likes your phone your good. If it doesn't flash a different kernel and use it for another 3 days or so.

I have a question if a flash 2.0 with no kernel can i use a nonvoodoo kernel ? i dont think im ready to jump into voodoo yet. im running comm rom 1.2 but i put a lagfix folder so it would be nonvoodoo.

Thanks for your help

I would say you would be okay if your already running on a nonvoodoo kernel. Since the kernel makes the rom voodoo or nonvoodoo. So no kernel would be the way to go for you

Yep. If you install the no kernel version then you will end up with the same kernel that you have now whatever that may be.

I'm curious what the difference is over 1.3, what's been changed-if its worth re-doing over 1.3?

Someone posted that ComaVolt is not compatable with ComRom 2.0. Can anyone else confirm this?

i have a question i just flashed ukb 2.0 and the only problem im having so far is that i can't see the time on my statusbar and i have all the boxes checked. is anyone having the some problem ? i had the some problem with comm rom 1.3 too. does anyone know how i can fix it ? Thanks

UKB with OTB 1.5 gives me horrible battery life. Gonna try PBJ

Considering this ROM has been out for what, a day max? There is NO WAY you have given it enough time to make any type of accurate assessment...

people tend to expect INSTANT battery life results... when i fact, it will take at least 2 or 3 days for the batter to get used to the new ROM.

If you keep jumping ship from kernel to kernel because you are not satisfied within the few hours you are running it, you will never find what the battery life is really like

Go to settings.... TSM Settings.... Status Bar..... Text color.... change the color, touch the circle in the middle.... save settings.... reboot and it will be there

Been running it for about a day, so far so good.

One thing though, tried updating the modem and the dialer was FC'in it's face off,so just reflashed whole rom and everything is cherry.

I just flashed it this morning and I love it so far. Still takes the launcher up to a minute to pop icons back on screen after rotating, but other than that, it's running far smoother than 1.3 ever did on my phone.

Do we need to absolutely wipe data if im upgrading from Comm Rom 1.3? or can i just flash 2.0 over 1.3 w/o data wipe?
