Effective use of the Galaxy S4

Hi guys. I am a proud owner of a Samsung Galaxy S4. I run the stock rom 4.3 rooted and don't use any launcher. I am overall very happy with TouchWiz and don't see why most people hate it. Anyway, somehow I feel that I don't take a full advantage of the phone. I use it to listen music, the calendar for events and tasks, playing some racing games, use some widgets for a quick info, watching videos on you tube, taking quick notes. I should say that I find most of the s apps useful, don't know why so many people are hating them. What is the reason? Also I will be interested in how you are using your s4

I don't think most people hate TouchWiz or the S apps. Its just that TouchWiz is heavy and typically has a negative affect on performance and folks aren't in love with things with those attributes. The S4 is a great phone.

I didn't say that s4 isn't great phone. I like it very much. Just the majority of comments in the Internet trends to show that people dislike TouchWiz. I should say that after the update, it runs more than perfectly!!!

I agree. Going back to your initial question, there's an incredible range of things you can do with the S4. I like to use mine to access these forums, as a music player, to access the Internet and my email while on the road or when my wife is using our main computer, and for navigation (driving and walking). Different people will have different preferences and usage patterns.

I love my S4, internet, e-mail, games, music, films, photos, I like it better than my computer !

Yeah i totally understand you. I rarely use that function of my device lol .......

I also changed the launcher for nova because touch wiz was making my phone lagg like crazy
