This has happened twice.
I connect to my laptop using a USB cable and transfer photos and videos. I then click on "eject" - nothing happens. I click on "safely remove" and again nothing happens. So I hope for the best and disconnect.
Now I have these issues
- even though I deleted the photos from the phone while connected to the laptop, they did not disappear from the phone (they were successfuly copied) I had to delete again from the phone
- apps disappeared (they were stored on the SD card, but not every app on the card disappeared)
- my application list has about a dozen listings that start with "com.<insert various file names>" I have no idea what they are or how to remove (try googling that one and see how much ridiculous hits you get)
- i can't change my wallpaper
I never had these problems transferring photos in the past so I assume it is an update in the past six months or so?
Thanks for any advice. I've read a few other threads and I see that the disappearing apps is a common problem involving the SD card.
