EKG in Watch 3

I've got the GW3 on T-Mobile. Haven't yet gotten the update despite checking manually. Based on what you guys are saying it sounds like I'll get it soon.

Anyone else who has the T-Mobile watch get it?

I also had to restart both the watch and the phone to get them to connect.

After I got the ECG update, it will ask you to download the Samsung Health Monitor app. I opened up the app and it says it can't find a compatible watch. I guess they need to update the app still. Anyone in the United States having this problem too?

I did not have that issue. I opened the app in the watch and it told me to download the Samsung Health Monitor App. I did that, went through the setup of the app and it worked right away.

Yeah, I ran in to the issue with no compatible watch found, so I restarted both and all is working fine now.

I didn't have to restart either watch or phone both worked right away.

Well, it seems to be a lottery on needing the restart, but the takeaway here is, if you get an error that you don't have a compatible watch, restart both and it should work.

Short answer, yes. I found the galaxy health monitor apk to get around the galaxy store issue with my pixel phone. Got it installed, but it says it can't find a compatible watch when i try to pair it to from my pixel. Appears that Samsung has it limited (hopefully not for long) to its own phones. Very annoying as that was never mentioned, to my knowledge, before.
