UPDATE:::: I've decided to be safe than sorry on loosing my money or personal information to an unrated/unknow online store. I've ordered the Onkyo ht S8400 Home Theater System from Vanns.com I was able to purchase it from them for $689.00 which included a free pair of speaker stands that were valued at $50.00. Overall It would have costed me $160.00 more than what the overall price from elektronicmart.com would have been. Not too mention Vanns.com is a highly rated online store thru various organizations including the BBB which they have an A+ rating. It gets no better than that, plus, you have a piece of mind that you will recieve the product you ordered instead of being ripped off. I hope this was helpful and I wish the other guy who ordered from elektronicmart.com the best of luck.. Plus, inform us anyway on your status of ordering the Samsung Tab from elektronicmart.com. PS Loby check out Vanns.com and their price, I'm sure you'll be just as happy with the extra item they offer and the free quick shipping. Good Luck

AnjrooDude????? Did you ever recieve your Galaxy Tab from elektronicmart.com???? Plz tell us any update about your experience? I did place an order but I did not go thru with providing my credit card info. I ended up ordering the Onkyo 7.1 home theater system from Vanns.com which is a highly rated online store with the BBB. It cost me $689.00 dollars which is $200.00 less from any other store, amazon.com, bestbuy, and other stores. The only lowest price would have been elektronicmart.com but they seem to shady. I ordered the Blackberry Tablet on 9/19/2011 from elektronicmart.com. Later that sweet lady called me after 15 calls to her. When the lady asked my Visa number I told her that I was not interested in doing business with her firm. I asked the RIM people about them and the lady from her told me that they might not be a official RIM re-seller. After hearing that and what you guys had to say I decided not to trust them.

I, too, am awaiting some feedback response on this site. Please post any experience with them. I am looking at their Kenwood DNX9980. $899 is between 300-600 lower than I have seen. Some places are still trying to sell this head unit for $1799. I have been ripped off using my credit card on ebay a couple times ( once for over $300 ) and Mastercard will reimburse if you do not receive or receive a crap item. I still would like to hear something positive before continuing.

They have cheap GT accessories, may be better to test out the waters with those items first.

And just because someone doesn't offer paypal, doesn't mean they aren't legit. I used to run a business that didn't offer paypal and I was legit.

I'm betting that most items are Refurb though. I don't really mind refurb, if anything they will be better than most originals since they had a problem and it was fixed. All while saving you $150 on a GT

Thanks for posting this. I am seeing this place pop up a lot on low price search sites. I have heard a lot of people say avoid it. However, I have not read one post anywhere of someone who has had a positive OR negative experience yet.

Hello to all, I have to admit, I am an interloper, and carry a (gasp) BlackBerry. While most Androids blow my BB out of the water, it's the phone I like. I'm not here to bash on anyone's phone choice, carry what you like, it's your phone.

What I am here for is to find out about elektronicmart.com, and it seems that rizvics8 is the only one with the guts to order from them. This includes members over at CB as well as AC and the rest of Mobile Nations, and I am hoping all goes well for this purchase, as I want to order a tablet for my own use. I won't mention what brand, but the initials "PB" are involved.

With any luck, the Android Market will soon be released for this particular tablet, and I will no longer be an outsider here in this forum. Good luck to all, Android phones are really cool and fast, and I really hope despite our personal choices, we can all enjoy the phones we carry around all day.

Riz, thank you for being the first to do this, and for keeping all of us up to date on how it goes.

So I got curious and took a stab - found a Jay's Heating and Cooling registered in Metairie, LA and reached out - found 10 different phone numbers and all of them either rang fast-busy (phone line out) or "not a valid number"

I ordered the "Playstation 3: Black Ops Bundle" for 179.00 from Elektronic mart on 9/11/2011.

I had a few emails from them, apologizing the delay. On 9/21/2011 I received a call from them, telling me that they are completely out of stock for all items. The next shipment will arrive on Friday 9/23/2011. Yet, they wont be able to send out the orders till Monday 9/26/2011. They have stated multiple times that I can cancel the order anytime and get my full refund. I am still hopeful that I get my Item next week!

I was watching this topic for the last week now, and always wondering if its a scam or not. When It arrives, I will let you all know..

Looking at their website under terms and conditions, they guarantee everything as new, HOWEVER, they say the warranties (all products) are for one year. This sounds like re-furbished goods as the Onyko receiver I'm looking at normally has a 2 year warranty. If anyone has actually received anything from them, please post. Thanks

About 2 weeks ago I ordered the Onkyo 7.1 home theater system from elektronicmart.com and I recieved the email that they would get in touch with me. That sweet lady called me and we played phone tag for about 3 days. I found the same Onkyo home theater system on Vanns.com for about $170.00 dollars more than elektronicmart.com but Vanns offered a free pair of speaker stands and free shipping so that it turned out to be only about $100.00 more than elektronicmart. But Vanns is highly recommended by the BBB with a high rating. Elektronicmart.com address comes back to Jay's Heating Co. and I doubt that they have two distribution warehouses. I believe that they have friends or family members working at department stores that sell the items they list and purchase them at an employee discount and sell them to you/us for a small profit. That is why they never have anything in stock, they never give a tracking number, and they always tell everyone that the shipment was damage or they have to reorder. I'd get my refund ASAP and avoid them like the plague. If you are looking for a home entertainment center, goto Vanns.com Good luck and keep everyone posted.

Not too mention I ordered the Onkyo Home Theater System on 9/19/11 and recieved it on 9/21/11. It plays awesome and it's even better when I'm playing my ps3. The sound quality is top notch. I love to hear the base rumble when I'm playing COD: Black Ops.... lol It's an awesome system well worth the money and it's a trusted department store. You can't beat that.

Update: I placed my order on 9/7 and still have not received it. I have received several emails from them and one phone call "explaining" the situation. I have been strung along by email and phone ever since, but I am giving up. I am still being lied to and do not yet have my order. Too many excuses and delays to be legitimate. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! My guess is that the reason they have been dilligent to keep up with me via phone/email so far and not cut off communication from me completely is to avoid as long as possible my exposing them on the internet. I am amazed at how gullible I have been. DO NOT ORDER FROM ELEKTRONICMART.COM!!!! They will sound very convincing in all of their communication with you, but are stealing money from people. Luckily my card company insures fraudulent transactions so I will recover my money, but I would hate for someone to lose their hard-earned money and not be able to recover it. You will if you order from them. **On the slightest chance that I am wrong and will still receive my order, I will retract this post. For now, I am treating the situation as though it is a scam** If you have any questions about my experience, I will continue to monitor this forum and address questions.

The domain was registered on September 1st 2011. This is a scam.
