Email account authentication error

Email app that came on my samsung phone wont authenticate my hotmail address ive change pass word cleared cache and data still having problems with it not authenticating

I've had this problem too until I realized that maybe it's because of 2 factor authentication on hotmail/outlook.com. If you have that, you need to generate a one time app specific password for the email app from the settings in hotmail.com
