Email addresses show up in Auto-correct

When I am typing a message, sometimes instead of a word, I get an email address of someone in my contacts. How do I stop this?

Re: Email addresses show up in Auto-correct

It's showing email addresses because your phone is set to learn from "Personalized data". If you go to your keyboard settings > Predictive text, you can turn off the option for personalized data, however, if you turn it off, it also disables learning from a few other sources.

Cannot the 'learning locations' be selected independantly?
It's really all or nothing?!

I have this nuisance problem on my S6, also--but I don't have the option for 'personalised data'. (T-mobile variant) Is this with the default Samsung Keyboard or with another keyboard app?

This is with the default Samsung keyboard (Verizon). Do you see Predictive Text? What happens if you click on the words "Predictive Text"? Does another window open up with options? If you see the window but don't see Personalized data, then maybe it's carrier specific. Don't know.

No, it doesn't give me another window--Just 'on' or 'off'...so it may be carrier specific between T-mobile and Verizon.

I'll be trying Lucianus_lucifrus's suggestion and doing the long press everytime I see an email address showing up.

That's weird. My T-Mobile 10.1 tablet has the same settings as my Verizon Note 4 phone. When I press on Predictive text, another window opens with options. Maybe it's an "S6" thing.

EDIT... Found this video on youtube for the S6 showing the same thing I see on my tablet and Note 4...
