email and pdf viewer

I have a Sansumg S20 with the new android 11 UI3.0 Firmaware. Ever since I upgraded, I cannnot open up a pdf or excel or any other attachment. i am using Aquamail for email and I even tried blue mail and outlook. all the same issue. it will only allow me to open it if I download it to the phone. just viewing it will give me an error.

Any ideas from the forum ? any work arounds ? anyone else have tis problem ?

Same issue here. Error state no app found

Same error or it says shorten the filename or file is corrupt. if you save the file to the phone you can then open it. Anybody out there have a workaround ?

What happens if you go to the system settings, tap Menu>Reset All App Preferences, and then try again? Does it ask you which app you want to use to complete the action? If so, choose the PDF viewer from Google Drive and see if the same thing happens.

I have S20+ 5G, Emui 3.0, Android 11. I have been using Aqua Mail for years and is working fine so far. I don't have this issue with opening pdf files. I use Office from Microsoft and it opens pdf from Aqua every time.

After resetting app preferences, did it give you several options to complete the action? If so, what were the options?
