email attachments

Might be a stupid question, but how do I download email attachments?

If you are using gmail, you are automatically prompted to download. Are you sure you aren't trying to download a picture that was sent to your phone in "Messaging"? I can't figure out how to do that.

Sorry to bump an old thread but, my girlfriend just bought an LG Ally but we can't seem to save attachments from her yahoo account. For reference, it was an mp3 file and later a zip file made using Astro. Anybody know how I'm suppose to save attachments?
