Good day, all...

I often need to send files which are not JPGs by email, but it doesn't seem possible...and trying to rename a file with a .JPG extension just puts the .JPG between the file name and the file's real extension, so it still can't be attached.

I don't always need to send pix to grandma...what's to be done?

Thanks for your assistance.

David

If you are using the gmail app there is a fix. Download a file manager from the market, i.e. Astro. The next time you go to attach a file from an email it will ask you which file manager you would like to use. Select the new one you installed.

I have the same problem from the non-gmail app, and have not been able to figure it out.

I use OI File Manager for that, but here's another way without the file manager. Use "My Files" app to navigate to your file, select the file and choose "Share" then select the email app you want to use to send it.
