Email Issues

I get a cannot connect to server on the default email app. No matter what I do, it gives me this message. Is this an issue on these phones? Samsung never gave me a connection issue.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Who's the email provider? Have you tried removing the email account, then adding back again, making sure the IMAP or POP3 server settings are absolutely correct?
