Since updating my Verizon Note 4 to Build MMB29M.N910VVRS2CPL1, I no longer get notifications of new emails in the notification area, nor do I get any blinking LED notice of new mails.
When I look for notification settings in Settings, nothing seems to apply to this. Under Sound and notifications, the Notifications slider is grayed out. In the Notification section of that screen, everything seems to be set correctly (and no changes have been made there any time recently, if ever.) The Newton mail app has an "Allowed: status. (I am using an unpaid version, but that has not been a problem in the pat.)
All mail accounts are syncing correctly, but there is no notification in the notification area or via the LED. When text messages arrive, I get a yellow blinking LED. This is only a problem with emails.
Anyone know how I cna get this back.
