Email Notifications Stopping

After setting up my email and setting a sound notification it will work as it is supposed to but at some point it will stop getting the sound notification when an email arrives. If I try to access my email settings I get a message which reads Unfortunately Email has Stopped. I then have to delete the email account and then reinstall it in order to get it to work. Is anyone else having this issue and does anyone know what could be causing it?

I guess there's a problem with the AC app.

Anyway, email settings will ask if you want or don't want to be notified every time you get an email.

Which email app are you using?
Third party app, Gmail, or another email through the stock email app?

I recommend you to use Gmail trough it's own application, it works best that way.

And for yahoo keep on using the stock app.

Like I said, just check the settings for those emails so you can get the notification sound as you like.
