Gmail deleted all of your deleted emails.
You can't pick and choose what you may want to keep a little longer.

I downloaded Blue Mail email.

Anybody else using it.
Or is there something better.
Don't think I want Microsoft exployer.

Gmail app for Gmail and Outlook app for my work Exchange email. The Gmail app keeps trashed items for 30 days before deleting them. For me that is enough time to go back and undelete if I change my mind. If you don't really want to trash emails just archive them and they disappear from the Inbox but can be found with a search. I use that function for all sorts of things like bills, receipts, other notices that I probably will never need again, but you never know.

I like deleting emails I know I will not want to keep.
But there are some I'd like to keep in the deleted folder longer.
But not in my in box.
On empty trash in deleted folder, it gets rid of everything.

Why does other email programs let you choose what you want to delete out of trash.
And that's what they delete.
This is another Google problem that needs cleaning up.
To me it's one thing after another that Google hasn't thought out right.

If you are gonna do something, do it right.
Or let people use it and tell you what they would be like changed and why.

you can just click on the delete folder and move it to another folder. Would you like your spam folder to save everything also?

Or go into trash and select what to perma delete and delete it versus hitting the button that says "Empty Trash" since .. that means .. it is going to empty it all.

They do. You are doing it wrong by hitting "Empty Trash" then wondering why it deletes all.

You can delete single emails in the trash folder just like you can from your inbox. It is literally no different.

It works but it's slow compared to aqua mail.

Might have to go back and look at it later.
Thanks.
