Email Push not working

My e-mails are not getting pushed through on my S4. The master auto sync is checked in the data usage and the sync is set at one hour in the e-mail. What could be the issue. I have deleted the accounts and re-signed up and still not working!
 
Is it the stock app? That is not a push app for email, it is a pull which is set to every hour. If you have gmail, use the gmail app. That is push.
 
I'm having the same issue on my GS3. Funny thing is, it used to work fine, and pushed new emails and calendar items immediately. As of last week, it's not doing it anymore. I even changed it to periodically pull, but that doesn't seem to have fixed it either.
 
Just found this on another forum and it fixed my problem.

"Oh I finally found it. Do this:
go to settings > data usage > under the mobile tab .. click on the menu button (touch) > select Auto Sync data"

Hope this works for you too.

Depends on what he is connecting too. If it's Microsoft Exchange then it is push.
