email sync issues

Have the G3 for a week and now all of a sudden my comcast emails do not sync. Have tried all the settings and pulling of sim card.
Anybody else?

Do you have any other email accounts syncing with the stock Email app? Have you tried removing the Comcast account and then adding it back again?

Yup!.
Google works good.
I cleared cache, data and removed from app and started over. Still have the issue.
Worked great for two days, so I know it works. Now to figure out what happened. May end up using a different email app.

Have you tried the Xfinity Connect app? It actually works pretty well now.

Installed it and so far it meets my expectations of at least sync issue. The other item is being careful NOT to delete the delete folder. I prefer to control all major functions ion my PC at the end of the day. If only the icon badge would indicate the amount of emails.

I am having the same issue. Cannot use Comcast email on wifi, using the stock droid email app on LG G3 since about 5 days after I updated to Lollipop. It gets suck at "updating" and gets very hot until I manually hit the menu option and hit "stop". I have another email account (hushmail) on the same app that hasn't missed a beat. If I turn off wifi, Comcast will sync. I can't leave wifi off and use data 24-7! I am about to lose it over this. I do not want another app (xfinity). I want it to just work as it has for years. Too many hands in the pot (Google, LG, Comcast, Verizon) and no one wants to take responsibility. If anyone has found an issue, please reply!

I am having the same issue and have searched everywhere for a resolution. I am also having the same issue with snachat. I do not receive those unless I am off of Wi-Fi. Please help!
