I received an email and want to forward it as a test message. How do I do that. Thanks

Copy it, open your text app, paste it. Or, if you know the recipient's carrier, forward it to:

Unfortunately, Textra does not accomodate that procedure. The only method that works is to copy the elements of the email and paste the elements separately into the new text message. It's convoluted but it's the only way I found that does it.

What Rukbat suggested was to use your email app and forward the email to the recipient's phone number using the email address template he listed above. So for example, if you wanted to forward it to someone who uses AT&T with a phone number 123-456-7890, then in your email app, forward the email in question to 1234567890@txt.att.net

I did understand what he was saying. My problem is that I don't have the carrier name of the recipient, only the phone number. I have a workaround but I was looking for a easier way to send it. I'm just lazy I guess. Thanks for your help and advice.

Even if you do know the carrier name, the email forwarding will not likely working correctly because each text will be limited to 144 characters and all the other end receives would likely be a message with bunch of email headers then cut off. At least that's what I experience before.

Manually copy and paste is your only choice. Your SMS app will accept paste because it is a common feature.
