Hey all,

I am still fairly NEW to Android. I was a diehard Windows Phone guy and moved to Android with a LG G4, then moved to a V10. This weekend I picked up a Note 8 (thank you best buy's awesome $350 off deal).

Windows Phone allowed live tiles for EACH email account, this is how I NEED a phone to work.

Well, the Email system on the Note 8 is horrible. I know some people are fine with it. I am referring to having all email accounts in 1 app, like the iPhone does. Personally I cant stand it and it's not how I need a phone. When I have NEW emails it shows a number for all accounts, as my personal accounts are not as important as my business accounts, it does not work for me.

When I had my LG models, There was a widget for email accounts, that I could create for EACH account I could have an icon for it and it would show new emails for THAT ACCOUNT and it would go directly in that account.

Is there a way to add Widgets so I can add these accounts like I need them to work ? If there is HOW do you do it ?

Thanks in advance !

So I gave AquaMail a shot for a day or so. The Widgets are tiny and look dumb next to any other apps icon. So this is a no go for me. Does anyone else have a suggestion of another mail.app that will give me what I need?

As for a.email app alone. Testing the pro..it's a nice app but not much better than the built in one..

Thanks !

Aquamail is great. They have a few different widgets to choose from and the size can be adjusted!! Or you can just use the regular Aquamail icon and have a notification counter on it when using a launcher like Nova. I have been using Aquamail for years and have tried others. In my opinion, it is by far the best one out there for multiple email accounts in one spot!

Try TypeApp. It gives independent unread widgets for each account

I tried it for 2-3 days. Aquamail is not a bad app. Some things I just needed to get used to. It's better than the internal app.

Just trying to understand on the Note 8 the widgets are smaller than other ICONS, it looks dumb. I never noticed this issue on ANY widget on my LG models...

I kind of wish I could yank the LG mail app. It worked perfect and gave me everything I needed.

David is this not what you are looking for?
