Just got the TB today and added my gmail and yahoo emails. When i open the apps they load the emails without issue. However, when new emails are in my account, they are not being pushed to my TB...I am having to open the app and refresh the email, to get the email to the tb. Is there something i need to change or a setting that i need to update. Thanks in advance!

Mine have been pushing fine and now that you mention it they have stopped coming in to me also sometime today.
Per what the OP is using (gmail and yahoo), android should have no issues pushing (yes, similar to BB) to the device. It would likely be just a settings issue.
my aol has stopped also... i noticed with the TB it does not have and option to push mail like my Droid X had... Only pull at different intervals

OK I just figured it out here is what the problem is. Each email addy has its own push schedule and it seems the factory default is a manual sync. You have to go into each e mail addy and change the pull schedule. To do this go to your account like you would be reading mail. Click on menu then more then go to settings. then click send and receive then update schedule. I selected every day of the week and also Sat Sun in off peak and to pull 15 every minutes. Then check notification settings to make sure its on and if you want sound or not.
Thanks, I was actually wondering this myself being an old BB user, and I knew I get more emails than I was getting notified for. Just thought it was running late, didnt realize you could set times for how frequently you wanted it to check.
Keep in mind that if you have gmail setup in the HTC mail, and not the gmail app, it wont push either.
Mine was working fine since thursday.. over night they did not push though.

So sunday is prob set not to pull gmail as quickly maybe...as soon as im done configuring my battery ill look.

There are two parts to the schedule. One is the peak hours (Mine are set to between 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on how important the account is to me), then there are the off peak hours. Yuo can also set what is peak. So If you set it to every 15 min on weekdays you can tell it to slow down nights and weekends if you wish to conserve battery
