So everything was fine last night until i saw 4 extra 'Picasa' folders in my Gallery. I have NEVER transferred ANY picaca folders to my phone before, nether have I logged into Picasa from my Galaxy Nexus.

I'm beginning to think it's malware.

Any idea what's up?
Any idea HOW they ended up on my phone?
I mean, the names of the folders sound familiar, but I absolutely have NO clue how they got there....

See if you have photos set to sync - Go to Settings - Account - Google - then click on each account listed and see what is set to sync.

What do you think?

have you installed google+ recently. its an integration of picasa album to your gallery. its not virus.

if you want to delete some of these folders go here in web https://picasaweb.google.com/home

and delete the album. it will disappear in phone.

Mate, the site doesn't load for me...

Well, it shows in your screenshot that you are syncing your photos, so stop syncing them if you do not want that then.

Alright. I guess that was the issue.
Thanks so much! :)

it should. its picasa web. open it in a PC web browser.

Google play/Picasa/Youtube all of that's blocked in bangladesh here =_=
But thanks. I'll update with TOR and then connect from my phone with WiFi from somewhere..
As long as it's just Photo Sync, i'm fine :D

Don't feel bad. I had the same thing happen to me and it really had me scratching my head because I could not find a way to get them off of my phone nor out of my Tab 7.7. A person led me on the right path and I was able to get rid of the unwanted photos in my gallery. To an extent, I think that Google might have gone a bit overboard with the synchronizing. I have my phone now set not to synch.
