Emoji support

I searched this to no avail so hopefully someone can help me.

I have downloaded several third party keyboards and haven't found actual emoji support. Just weird looking knock off emojis that my friend (using a Samsung galaxy note 5) can't always see.

Is this because the phone is still new and nothing has been put out yet? I am new to Android so maybe I'm not looking in the right places? Thanks!

I use Touchpal Keyboard. It has emoji that Samsung users can see. I believe Kii Keyboard also.

Is there reason that I wouldn't be able to see other people's emojis on websites? They appear like black squares

I'm not sure about websites, but I've never had a problem with text messages.

It's so frustrating coming from iPhone where they were always there and always worked to this.
