Enable quick punctuation on rooted Nexus

Hey guys i just rooted my nexus and installed the Vicious rom. Im using the stock keyboard but dont have the quick punctuation above it anymore. Predictive text still appears after i type a word but no punctuations. Any insight to enable it?

You can go into settings-->launguage & input-->android keyboard settings-->advanced settings-->UNCHECK "next word prediction"

This will remove the next word prediction and put back quick punctuation. One other option (which is what I chose to do) is to download the ICS keyboard form the market. It just seems to work a lot better since I'm so used to it. Here's a Play Store link if you want it:

I did the same as Pierce. I installed VLLWP ICS keyboard. Works great! I really missed the quick punctuation and didn't know turning off the next word prediction would work. I was never a fan of that anyway with the swype keyboard, which is its major selling point.
