Where is the global setting ?

When I want to sideload an app it asks me to each time.

Is there a global setting for this like on every other android device I've ever had.

The app that you're using to "run" the APK for installation is now the one on the hook for allowing unknown sources. Once you try to do so once with an app, and then allow it to do it, it shows up under Biometrics and Security.

Thanks for that clarification. Wonder why no more global toggle for that?

Oreo changed it to Apps Special Access where you'll find it for individual apps like Internet, Chrome, others
