What does this actually do? Apps don't seem to open or run any quicker and it does nothing for games evidently. The description says data processing so does that mean just file transfers? If that is the only time it's engaged does it hurt just to leave it on?

I believe another name for high performance mode like we had before , where notification dont get delayed or app background refreshing,just don't get to change screen resolution

Not really, what I noticed a battery hit is between carrier I use , my TMO sim allows better screen on time then my Att sim

Not to dig up an old thread, but curious as to if you get delayed notifications with it on? I'm having an issue where push notifications are not coming through until I wake up the phone. When I wake up the phone first thing in the morning I'm getting bombarded with notifications that should have come through during the night and I can't figure out why it's doing that. Same apps on my Pixel 3 and no push notifications issues with that phone.

I have adaptive battery off and "put unused apps to sleep" is off as well. Saw this setting and wondered if it would solve the issue.

Yeah for some its been a issue, you can try it but others have and said didn't work

One thing you can try , I dont turn phone off at all or let it auto restart. I think when phone turns off then back on it goes into this deep doze mode until you open it.
