I was disappointed with the S6 Edge for one main reason: the device I received had bad discoloration on the bottom half of the screen. Not cool when scrolling any text on a white background; very noticeable to me. So, decided not to live with the odd color problem and switched it out for a Note 5. With overnight shipping they said it will be here Tuesday. Can't wait! Of course, all this depended on me being within the "buyer's remorse" policy that T-Mobile has, which I was. I'm basically returning the Edge and getting the Note back.

I believe I made the right choice. The last Note I had was the Note 2 and really enjoyed it. I've only read great things about the Note 5's display, so I'm hopeful. There are just too many forum posts regarding negative issues with the S6/Edge screen.

I don't think that you will be disappointed with the screen on the Note 5. I had the s6 Active and I can say that the screen is more vibrant and clearer than I had prior. Even my wife noticed the difference between the two. Samsung has really improved the screen on this phone compared to the previous models.

My Note 5 has this discoloration problem, but it's left side versus right side instead of top and bottom. :-(

Oh man. That's no good. Are u trying to exchange it or just live with it?

I'm still wondering the point of the S6 edge+. It should have been an update to the Note edge.

Totally agree, whilst it may look aesthetically pleasing I'm struggling to see any benefits and how much would that screen cost to replace. What makes Samsmug think this is the next big thing. I'd gladly pay for an innovative product that added value to my overall useage. This does not, I hope LG release a note product this year in Europe.
