I just got my phone yesterday and the app worked fine for me, just finished registering for the promotion.

I don't have the option to register for this promo in this app and I already have my Gear VR promo in process. Like others have mentioned, I only have the "Shop Now" link instead of Register for this particular promo.

Yeah it's not listed in there either. Looks like US only.
I guess buying on April 20th you get the worst of both worlds. Too late for the free VR and too early for this promotion. Bummer.
