Just installed that kernel. Life at 1.2GHz is not too shabby Even with the governor set to conservative, I am pretty much unable to make the phone lag.

battery same as before. phone is fast with launcher pro

Even with several apps open and running i havent been able to make my epic lag.

Most of the overclocked kernels are undervolted, which helps save juice. I've been getting the same if not better battery life.

There are a couple kernels that have been overclocked. The one packaged in the Backed Snack ROM was bug-free for me. The Mixup kernel is also set to 1.2GHz but was faster on my phone, and only had one bug: setting the governor to "Performance" caused the overclock speed to randomly fluctuate, but if set to "Conservative" it is also bug-free (at least in my tests).

There may also be a few other overclocked kernels floating around that escape me atm. But I would jump in if I were you - you'll love the new speed.

For your settings do you have both the max and min set to 1.2? or should I set the min to something like 1.0?
