Charged my epic, with the wall charger, blue light came on and i unplugged it. Blue light stayed on for over a minute so i decided to pull the battery out, since powering it off the normal way failed to get ride of the blue light. Now the damn phone wont turn back on.

Am i screwed until i get mailed a new phone or can i get an in store replacement from sprint. i really cant be without a phone for several days until my new one comes. What a PITA, i hate when phones fail!

strange... My daughters epic did the same thing. Charged over night and blue light was on showing a full charge. When I pulled her battery and restarted her phone it was completely dead. I put my battery in her phone and it started right up. Then when I put her battery in my phone it showed no charge. I plugged my phone into the charger and charged her dead battery and both phones have worked ever since.

Somehow her battery didn't charge all night and was completely dead. But still showed the blue light. I was lucky as I have an extra epic and battery or I may of just turned the phone in thinking it was a phone issue and not a battery or charge issue.

Try charging it again.....

i am not experiencing the same thing. My battery actually is charged. The blue light stayed on even after unplugging the charger, and even after turning the phone off. The only way i was able to get the blue light to go off was pulling the battery out and putting it back in. But when i did that my phone would not turn back on at all. This morning it still did not want to turn back on, so i tried to pull the battery out one last time and put it back in now the damn phone turns back on. I am going to have this phone warrantied, i cant afford for this to happen again.

my question is does sprint do in store phone warranty or will i have to wait for a new one via mail?

I had to wait for my phone in the mail. It took 2 days for me to get my phone and was able to use my old phone until I got it.

Again.. My daughters phone did the exact thing yours did. The blue light stayed on no matter what, until I pulled the battery, then it wouldn't turn on again with that battery.

When I put my battery in her phone it worked fine. I put her battery in my phone and it showed completely drained, where on her phone it showed fully charged with the same blue light problem as yours.

I put her battery back in her phone and plugged it in and now all works well. just figured it was a glitch as it hasn't happened again.

This is the second time it has happend to my phone. First time it started right back up with a battery pull. This time no luck until this morning. i will not be taking that battery out until my new phone arrives.

getting an advanced exchange at the sprint store tomorrow. They claimed it was a software issue and they did some sort of reset (who the hell they think they fooling) so when i get home i put it on the charger and i get the same problem but this time with the red light. I am not pulling the battery this time! i will just have to deal with it until tomorrow.

Same thing happened to me. I am now on my third Epic after the first one lost GPS.

got my replacement, installed backup pro, and the damn app does not show up on my app list. i need to restore my phone!! nevermind i found the problem...
